Madison Shooting

At 11:30 in the morning everybody at Syracuse University received texts, emails, or phone calls warning them to stay inside becaues there had been a drive by shooting on the corner of Madison St. and University Ave. only a few blocs from campus. By the time the warning was lifted and I went to the scene almost all evidence of recent violence and near death had disappeared. It was a calm street, although still blocked by police line. One bullet hole in a car door remained.

The New York state fair is a hectic melee of people pushing for sensory experience.
